We should be finding ways to mine better and when we can figure out ways to re-use and mine old vehicles, which is the best for all concerned. We must keep our mines running, it employs lots of people and provides local raw materials, thus saving the expense of overseas shipping and if we are careful to mitigate the issues of environment along with the need for efficiencies, we should be able to slow the flow of the growing deficit.
Think about all the raw materials our nations geography has, it is abundant indeed. Our waste also contains valuable plastics, rubber, scrap; all of which contain materials we can use to propel our civilization more efficiently. Wont you join me in spreading the word?
